Google Cloud Run Configuration Checklist

Create Service Account on Google Cloud

Go to Google Cloud Console → IAM & Admin → Service Accounts → Create Service Account

Assign required roles

Cloud Run Admin, Cloud Build Editor, Artifact Registry Admin, Service Account User

Generate and download JSON key

Keys → Add Key → Create new key → JSON. Download the file and copy all content.

Configure GCS_SERVICE_ACCOUNT_JSON secret

Base44 Dashboard → Settings → Secrets → Paste entire JSON content in the value field

Enable APIs on Google Cloud

Server Automation Webhook

Trigger execution of code saved in a Virtual Server

✅ Cosa succede:

  • • Loads the server from the database
  • • Executes the saved code (AI Engine or Cloud Run if enabled)
  • • Saves the results in the webhook

⚠️ Note on Cloud Run and Webhook

The webhook triggers execution of the code saved on the server via the AI Engine (always active). If the code requires libraries like numpy, pandas or matplotlib, it will be necessary that Cloud Run be active on the server console (toggle "Cloud Run On"). Operations like HTTP fetch, scraping and NeuralAI API calls work without Cloud Run.
